from mariettamcclurefitness Then, darling doodles also has a darling printable for setting goals |
from darlingdoodles.blogspot.com |
I am printing these off and we will set some goals that night. One goal that I want each girl to work on is writing in a journal. I plan on getting some inexpensive notebooks next week and having them do their first entry that night. Found this super cute poster for journal prompts:
from inkablinka.com |
I am going to give each girl a little paper cup of m&ms, one in each color. As they write about each prompt, they can eat the corresponding color! What could be better than cuteness+chocolate to help motivate them!
Anyway, I hope this helps inspire some other great activities! You can download the journal prompts printable here.
Download the goal printable here.
And you can find the SMART poster here.
And anyone who wants to join me in my resolution to eat more chocolate, I will be your goal buddy! Call me anytime you need encouragement! :)

ReplyDeleteI wish I had known about this blog a few months ago when I was over the activity day girls. This would have been a life-saver! It's amazing! I am going to work on adapting these for our R.S. activities now!

Thank you so much for not only your site but this post! I was just called as leader for the 10-11 year old girls and a little overwhelmed... I know- how silly, I will do fine! But being a very new, first time mother I feel a great sense of responsibility for these young ladies. After reading your post about journaling and goals I've already planned two activities and feel prepared and EXCITED for this new calling!I can't wait for the girls to start their M&M themed journaling!
ReplyDeleteI appreciate you sharing and will be back VERY often!

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your blog. I just found it today - I was just called as Activity Day Leader for 8-9 year old girls and I am not a creative person - a little scarrrred (think Oprah). I am so excited to have found your website. You have great and do-able ideas. Just what I need!!
ReplyDeleteI love this activity. I was wondering if you could update your handouts for 2013? Thanks!
